The mugo with lots of bizarre deadwood -part 1

This mugo was collected around 1995 by Horst Heinzlreiter, the famous potter. He planted it into this wooden box and left it there until 2006. In the fall of 2006 Juergen Zaar, the upcoming German bonsai master could use it for as complete first styling. This was featured in a recent edition of Bonsai Focus extensively. Juergen did a vey good job. He took special care to form the huge clump of deadwood. Somehow the tree found it's way into my gardne in December 2006.

1) summer 2004
2) in Juergen Zarr's garden, in December 2006 after the firswt styling.
